C'est La Vie...I've been having problems with my blood pressure, and my doctor is making me come in twice a week for monitoring. So, every Monday and Thursday I have to drag up to the hospital (a 45 minute drive) and spend about an hour hooked up to machines to monitor the baby's heart rate and to see if I'm having contractions. Whoopie...
I'm currently at 33 weeks gestation (or 8 months for those who, like me, are too lazy to do the math ^^). I delivered my first son at 34 weeks, due to complications from high blook pressure, and I'm hoping to avoid that this time around and make it at least a little bit closer to full term.
The doc has me spending most of my time resting with my feet propped up. -_- Ech. It's sooooo boring... there's only so much television one can endure. >< At least I have cable and don't have to put up with the daytime soaps. *grins*
The diabetes is under control... it's actually the least of my problems, because my sugar levels are staying where they're supposed to. *grins wryly* I've put on a bit of weight and it looks like I'm smuggling a basketball. I suppose I should get someone to take a picture of me to show you guys. ^^
I posted the latest ultrasound pic, and I'll post any new ones I get. Since I have to go in every Thursday for an ultrasound, that should be once a week, if I can find the time and energy for it.
Blah... I HATE being so tired and sleep all the darn time... Of course, once the baby gets here, I'll STILL be tired and sleepy, just for different reasons
All in all, things could be worse, at least they don't have me on total bed rest in the hospital. >< *shudders* Let's hope THAT doesn't happen...

I never had a blood pressure problem with either of my kids. The *(@&# doctor, though, had convinced himself with my first that I had prenatal diabeties. I was overweight at the time but all my vitals were perfect, yet the nincompoop insisted on making me go on a diabetic diet when I didn't need to. Needless to say I got a NEW doctor when I got pregnant with my daughter.
Keep your feet up, get some rest and take care of yourself! That little bean is worth far more than anything. I'll keep you both in my prayers.
